Technology Bill Audit
Most small businesses are overpaying somewhere in their technology spend — an auto-renewed contract, licenses nobody uses, a plan that made sense three years ago and doesn’t anymore. We find it, explain it in plain English, and tell you exactly what to do about it.
What We Look At
- Internet and connectivity — what you’re paying, what you’re actually getting, and whether there’s a better fit available at your address.
- Phone and communications — lines, seats, and features you’re paying for and never use.
- Cloud software and licensing — Microsoft, Google, Adobe, DocuSign and the rest. Unused seats are the single most common thing we find.
- Networking equipment and services — leases, support contracts, and hardware that’s quietly still billing.
- Contract terms and renewal dates — where you’re locked in, when you’re not, and what leverage you actually have.
What You Get
- A written findings report — your technology spend laid out line by line, with what’s working and what isn’t.
- Specific, prioritized recommendations with real dollar figures attached.
- A review call to walk through the findings together and answer your questions.
- No obligation to act on any of it.
We’ve Done This From The Inside
This isn’t theoretical. Before Compass Apex, Bob was the technology leader at a mortgage lender where these same bills crossed his desk every month — consolidating software licensing that had sprawled across departments, and moving the company off an aging on-site phone system to a cloud-based one. That one change cut overall telephony costs by up to 30%, and earned him a seat on the provider’s customer advisory council.
He did it while the company grew from seven branches to 40 and past 200 employees — which is the hard part. Holding a technology budget down is easy when nothing is changing. Doing it while everything is expanding is the actual skill.
We know where the money hides because we’ve had to go find it in our own budget.
What It Costs
$99 flat for the audit, regardless of what we find.
If we find savings and you decide to act on a recommendation, we take 30% of the verified monthly savings across the first six months — billed once after that six-month period, not monthly. If you don’t act on anything, you owe nothing beyond the $99.
Put plainly: if we save you $400 a month, you keep roughly $1,680 of the first six months of savings — and every dollar after that. If we find nothing, the audit cost you $99 and you now know your spend is clean.
What Happens Next
Fill out the short form below — it takes about two minutes. We’ll reach out to talk through your situation, confirm the scope and the terms in writing, and then get to work. Nothing is owed and no work begins until we’ve spoken and you’ve agreed to move forward.
